Big exam this week. Which means, of course, that Ben's studying has been particularly...studious over the last week or so. Not that that it ever ISN'T. But it does mean that it's difficult to take time off for family events. So last night he missed out on dinner and cake celebrating my mom's birthday (Happy Birthday, Mama!). And if he's missing cake, you know there's a lot to learn. Fortunately, my mother insisted on sending a slice home.
It's all a big lesson in flexibility.
